University Club Gainesville is located about 1.5 miles from the southwestern corner of the University of Florida campus. This region of campus is home to the Natural Area Teaching Laboratory, the Harn Museum of Art and the Florida Museum of Natural History. It takes about five minutes to drive to this area if you take SW 23rd Terrace to Archer Road and then turn right on SW 34th Street. This road runs along the western edge of campus, allowing you to turn right on any road to reach your final campus destination.
You can reach parking lots on the southern edge of campus in about five minutes while lots further northeast are within a 10-minute drive. If you prefer to walk or ride a bike to the school, you can reach the center of campus in about 30 minutes on foot, and the areas further north will take up to 45 minutes. The bike ride will cut this commute time more than in half. This location also allows you to walk or bike to many restaurants and retail stores as well as Shands Hospital and the VA Medical Center.

This bus stop is connected to six bus routes heading to different areas of the city, and you can take a route 9 bus to reach Turlington Hall in the northeastern region of campus in about 20 minutes. This places you near the Marston Science Library, University Auditorium and the Architecture Lawn.
If you take the route 35 bus, you can reach Reitz Union in under 15 minutes. This places you in front of Rawlings Hall and close to the Broward Outdoor Recreational Complex. There are many open green spaces, gardens and recreational complexes in this area of campus, and most campus facilities are a short walk or bike ride away.
If you make the right connections, the bus stop in front of this apartment complex can take you to most attractions and places of employment throughout Gainesville. If you have private transportation, this complex will allow you to drive away from campus while walking or biking to class.

Archer Road is less than one mile north of the University Club apartment complex, placing you a short walk or bike ride from many restaurants and retail stores. This road is also home to the city’s movie theater and fire department as well as many large medical complexes. For outdoor recreation, you can commute about two miles east to walk the trails at Bivens Arm Nature Park and Sweetwater Wetlands Park.
