About The Ridge

The Ridge, an apartment community featuring spacious 2, 4 and 5 bedroom floorplans is located in Gainesville, Florida, and features easy access to the University of Florida.

If you are looking for a residence that is both fun when you want to unwind after a long day, but yet conveniently close to class, The Ridge is just what you have been searching for. With a bus stop located right around the corner from your doorstep, you will find that your classes are as close as fifteen minutes away when you take the 126 bus, which has a route that takes you straight through the heart of the University of Florida campus.

When you are working on that biology or anthropology project, the 126 bus will also take you to the Florida Museum of Natural History and its beautiful Butterfly Rainforest in a matter of minutes, or stay on the bus for a few minutes more and find yourself at the world renown Harn Museum of Art to take in an exhibit or two. If your preferred visual art is film, there is a Regal Cinema within walking distance to suit the needs of any movie buff.

Away from the main strip of Gainesville, you can enjoy a little less traffic and a lot more peace and quiet for studying. However, for those nights when a break from studying is long overdue, walk over to Olive Garden for some Italian comfort food. Its only a twelve minute walk, or if Italian is not your favorite, head the other way, and in less than twenty minutes, you can check out the highly rated 4 Rivers Smokehouse. If you need your pick up in the morning, there is a Starbucks around the corner, too.

Even if you are not feeling like walking or taking the bus, The Ridge offers a number of resort style amenities that make a night in just as much fun as a night out. Spend a sunny day relaxing in the lazy river pool, catch the big game on the twenty foot outdoor jumbotron television, or join your friends in the hot tub. It has a twenty five person capacity! For those wanting to burn off some calories, the Ridge also features a modern gym that offers both group fitness and personal training to help you get in shape.

If you have roommates, bring them! With floorplans as large as five bedrooms, there is space for everyone, and since The Ridge offers individual leases, you are only responsible for paying for your own room. Since The Ridge has fully furnished units, moving in has never been easier. With its plentiful amenities and convenient location, The Ridge has just what you are looking for in student housing. Welcome home to The Ridge!

I liked that the complex was brand new when I moved in. If I knew I was staying in Gainesville I might have renewed.

three of my friends and i wanted to live together but an apartment would've been too small, so we chose this complex based on the spaciousness of it and the fact that we could all live together

great complex, very spacious, great roommates

prices went up a lot after we first moved in, so when we resigned it was more expensive
