If you want to be close to the action of the University of Florida campus while still having a space of your own to call home, Pinnacle Point is a great option. These two-bedroom townhomes feature one and a half bathrooms, washer/dryer connections, and plenty of storage, making them perfect for roommates to share or small families. Bring your pet and enjoy life in this pet-friendly, quiet community that is close to campus, amenities, and attractions.
Getting to class by bus, bike, or car is easy for residents at Pinnacle Point. To get to campus by bus, there is a stop right in front of the community’s entrance that is on the #20, #28, and #302 routes. All three go directly through campus, with the #302 being a “Later Gator” route that runs overnight.
For students who need to be on the south side of campus, near the College of Nursing or the College of Pharmacy, it’s only about 10 minutes by car and 15 minutes by bus. It’s easy to get there by going north on SW 34th Street and entering campus on Hull Road which curves into Mowry Road and goes through campus. You can also go south on SW 34th Street to Archer Road which borders campus to the south and go through campus by turning north on Gale Lemerand, Newell, or Center Drive.
If your destination is on the northern part of campus, near Library West, Tigert Hall, or the College of Business, it’s still a short drive or bike ride. You can take Archer Road and go north through campus along Gale Lemerand Drive, or you may find it easier to go north on SW 34th Street. From there you can turn right onto Radio Road, and take a left onto Museum Road which continues to run through the northern part of campus, making it easy to reach your class or destination.
Amenities and entertainment are also close to Pinnacle Point. For a quick stop at the grocery store, there is a Winn-Dixie grocery, just a block away on SW 20th Avenue. There are tons of great hangout spots near campus, especially along University Avenue. However, Butler Plaza is just a five-minute drive along SW 34th Street to Archer Road. You’ll find Target, Old Navy, Publix, and several smaller stores, plenty of dining, and a large movie theater there.
