Transportation
Chelsea Apartments sits to the northeast of the University of Florida campus. It is farther away from campus than most students will be willing to bike or walk, but thankfully there are other transportation options available which include commuting and public transit.
Bus routes 20, 28, 34, and 36 provide transportation to the area of the apartment complex. One of the most convenient routes is No. 28 which runs from the Hub to Forest Park. Students should plan on the bus trip to campus taking anywhere from 11-48 minutes depending on traffic and the time of day. Bus service is available Monday-Friday and to a more limited extent on the weekends.
By far, the best way to reach the campus from these apartments is by car. The trip can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on traffic. Many students prefer to drive their car to the commuter lot on campus and then take the public transit to other areas of the school.
