The Courtyards are located less than a quarter of a mile away from the east side of the University of Florida. Walk two blocks west on SW 3rd Avenue, cross SW 13th Street, and you will find yourself on campus by Tigert Hall and Little Hall. While many of the classroom halls are located on the east side of the University of Florida Campus, the Smathers Library, Fine Arts building, and the Architecture building are some of the closest buildings to the apartment complex, in addition to Tigert and Little Hall. Living here, you will also be just a five minute walk away from Broward Recreation Hall.
Many of the sports complexes, the stadium, and some other classroom buildings are located on the west side of campus. To get to those areas, you may find it easier to ride a bicycle or drive using Stadium Road. Stadium Road is located almost directly across from SW 3rd Avenue, and it spreads across the entire campus and connects to many of the side streets, making it a convenient travel option for crossing campus.
If you would rather not walk or ride a bicycle, you can take the campus bus system. There are several stops near the Courtyards Apartments that are on the 127 Route which runs from 7:00 AM until 7:04 PM. There is also a late route that runs in the evening and late night that circles the campus, and there are numerous stops near the apartments. This bus route allows you to get safely home, even if you have a night class or are studying late at the library.
Living here, you will also find yourself within close distance to restaurants, shopping, and other conveniences. There is a CVS pharmacy that is just a two minute walk away for any necessities you many need. Just four blocks north is W University Avenue, a bustling road where you will find Bagels & Noodles, Bistro 1245, Emiliano’s Café, and dozens more options. You can study or hang out with friends at one of the several coffee shops that are within walking distance. Within a ten minute drive or a quick bus trip, you will find a Regal Cinema, Publix grocery store, and shopping malls.
