Transportation
Spyglass is located in an area that is somewhat car-dependent. It is farther away from the UF campus than most students will be willing to walk due to traffic and navigating numerous busy streets. It is possible to bike to school, but the journey can take 30 minutes or more depending on the time of day and the campus destination.
The most convenient transportation option is to take a bus provided by the Gainesville Regional Transit System. The apartment complex is served by Route 20. This bus runs from the Reitz Student Union to the Oaks Mall near the complex. Buses run every 7-30 minutes during the weekdays and also every 20-60 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. Transfers can be made at the Reitz Student Union to a variety of destinations in Gainesville.
Those who wish to drive their own vehicle to campus can make the trip in roughly 10-15 minutes depending on the volume of traffic. Once on campus, it will be necessary to park in a commuter lot and walk or take a bus to classes.
