Transportation
A mere block from University of Florida, LynCourt Square is convenient for students and UF employees who want to live in the heart of university activity. Walking to east campus sites such as Hough Graduate School of Business and Tigert Hall takes just a few minutes. Walking to the Shands Medical Plaza on the campus’ south side is a short 25-minute trek.
While you’re close enough to campus to walk to many UF locations, you may want to find alternate transportation if you’re heading to the west side of campus. Driving to westside facilities such as Harn Museum of Art and the Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Institutes takes about 10 minutes. If you prefer to save the environment and your budget, city buses are a good option for west campus travel. Bus Route 126 picks up passengers at Norman Field just a block from the apartments and circles around much of campus, making stops near The Hub, Sorority Row and along Museum Road. Of course, the cheapest form of transport around all areas of campus from the apartments is via bicycle. Biking to the southwest area of campus takes just 12 minutes; cycling to northwest areas like Levin College of Law is a quick 7-minute ride.
The apartments are also conveniently located for public transit access to other areas of town too. Route 10 picks up near the apartments and travels northwest to Santa Fe College and southeast to the Rosa Parks Downtown Station. Route 25A also picks up passengers near the apartments and offers stops near downtown hot spots like the Hippodrome and Bo Diddly Plaza. After making their way through downtown, Route 25A buses continue on to the airport.
