For University of Florida students who want a peaceful, luxurious place to call home, but who still want to be close to campus, Heritage Oaks Luxury Apartments are a great option. This complex features spacious one bedroom flats and townhouses and two-bedroom flats that are perfect for roommates to share. Each apartment features a washer and dryer, high-speed internet, and high-end fixtures, while the community boasts gorgeous landscaping and ample parking.

While the apartments themselves are luxurious and lovely, the biggest feature of Heritage Oaks Luxury Apartments is its close proximity to campus. Residents are only a block away from the northeast corner of campus and can be at areas around Library West, Tigert Hall, and the College of Business in ten minutes or less. Walking or riding a bike is the easiest way to get to class, and students can easily cross University Avenue at 13th Street and be on campus.

For students who have classes on the south side of campus near the College of Nursing, College of Dentistry, or the College of Medicine, it’s still only a 30-minute walk and about a 15-minute bike ride. Once you are on campus at 13th Street and University Avenue, students can head south along Newell Drive to easily reach their destination. If the weather is bad, the campus bus system is inexpensive and convenient, with stops within a block of the complex.

When students aren’t in class, Heritage Oaks Luxury Apartments are conveniently located to entertainment and amenities. During football season, it’s an easy walk to the stadium, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pubs along University Avenue that are great spots to hang out, meet friends, or grab a quick bite. A Publix grocery store is at the corner of NW 13th Street and University Avenue, less than a block from the apartment community, making a quick stop for necessities easy and convenient.

Butler Plaza and The Oaks Mall are also popular Gainesville spots for shopping and dining. Located at SW Archer Road and SW 34th Street, Butler Plaza houses dozens of stores including Target, Best Buy, and Old Navy, in addition to quick service restaurants and a movie theater. While it’s a bit far to walk, it’s only about 25 minutes by bike and 10 minutes by car when you go south on SW 13th Street and make a right on SW Archer Road.

The Oaks Mall and the surrounding area has additional shopping and dining options. It’s located on Newberry Road, which is a slight turn off of University Avenue. It’s easy to access by bike or car. There’s a stop for the #5 bus route just steps from Heritage Oaks Luxury Apartments, and that bus line goes directly to the Oaks Mall for students wanting to utilize public transportation.
