About Eagle Point Villas

Whether you are seeking a house to accommodate roommates or a family, Eagle Point Villas is a great place for students and faculty at the University of Florida to call home. The large villas have three bedrooms, two baths, and both a living room and a den, so there is plenty of room to spread out. Two car garages and screened-in porches are also included with each home. With high-end finishes, custom blinds, and skylights, residents enjoy a luxurious atmosphere at an affordable price.

For students and staff at the University of Florida, Eagle Point is just a 20-minute commute by car or a 40-minute commute by bike to campus. Drivers headed to campus will find it easiest and fastest to drive south on Fort Clarke Boulevard, then turn left to head east on W Newberry Road. If your classes are on the north side of campus, around the Music Building or Smathers Library, W Newberry merges with W University Avenue, which borders campus to the north. If you have classes on the south side, near the Veterinary Science or Engineering Buildings, you can turn right from W Newberry to SW 34th Street and then head east on SW Archer Road, which borders campus on the south and is near several parking locations. You can also drive to a Park and Ride location off-campus and take the bus onto campus.

If you choose to ride a bike, the easiest path is to take NW 23rd Avenue to NW 16th Boulevard, then head south on SW 34th Street. From there, you can cut through campus down one of the side streets to where you need to go. For people wanting to use the public transit system, there is a bus stop on site, and you can take the #23 bus to the Oaks Mall where you can pick up the #20 which goes straight through campus.

When you aren’t in class or on campus, there are several things to do near Eagle Point. The Oaks Mall is a large mall featuring dozens of great stores and restaurants, and it is less than ten minutes by car and accessible by the #23 bus. Publix Grocery and K-Mart are located in the Newberry Square Shopping Center only five minutes away. There are also great schools within walking distance which is convenient for students and faculties with families.
