Transportation

The Regional Transit System of Gainesville provides bus service for the apartment complex to and from the university on the No. 5, No. 34, No. 40, and No. 43 routes. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to arrive at various destinations on campus which include the Reitz Union where students can also find buses offering transportation to other parts of the city.
Those who prefer to walk to campus will find that they can accomplish the journey in 20 minutes or less. The most convenient walking or biking route is to take W. Newberry Road to Village Drive. This path is safest for pedestrians and bike riders and typically presents less traffic concerns than other routes.
By car, the campus can be reached in as little as five minutes. Drivers can take multiple routes which include Radio Road and Highway 26.t

One of the most popular gathering spots for students is the Mi Apa Latin Cafe of Gainesville which is directly across the street.
The New Deal Cafe, Domino’s Pizza, and Checkers can all be found on West University Avenue just two blocks away from these apartments. Time 4 Italian is one-half mile away and offers sit-down dining in an elegant setting. Students can relax at the Stonewood Grill and Tavern on West Newberry Road after a hard day of classes and exams.
For grocery shopping, the Publix market on SW 2nd Avenue is just one block away. Many residents of these apartments find it easy and convenient to walk to the store. There they can find groceries and household good in addition to a variety of services such as Western Union.
