About Hunters Run

Transportation
A little more than two miles from the University of Florida, Hunters Run apartments are close to I-75 but set within a peaceful wooded area. If UF is your destination, you’ll have plenty of transportation options, especially if you need to head to the southwest side of campus and sites like Florida Museum of Natural History and the Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute.

The drive to the southwest area of campus is a quick 6 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day you’re commuting. If you’re driving to this area of campus during morning rush hour, it’s often easiest to head north along SW 34th Street. If your destination is to the UF Welcome Center and central or east areas of campus, it’s usually faster to drive east on SW Williston Road/FL-331 and north up SW 13th Street. The drive to the northeast section of campus generally takes about 20 minutes during high traffic times.

Apartment residents who prefer taking public transportation are also in luck. Routes 9, 35 and Later Gator B pick serve the bus stop at the Hunters Run entrance. The ride to the central and northern parts of campus on these lines takes 30 to 40 minutes and makes several stops near and around campus. If you’re heading to The Hub or the stadium, you can catch a Route 34 bus at the Campus Lodge apartments, a six-block walk away. You can ride to other parts of town, including Oaks Mall, on Route 62 buses. Route 62 also picks up passengers at nearby Campus Lodge apartments.

Things Nearby
