Transportation
Cobblestone Apartments sits to the north of the University of Florida campus. It is slightly more remote than some of the other apartment complexes in the city. As such, many of the residents of the complex prefer to use their own transportation to access the campus. It is possible to drive to the campus in as little as 10 minutes during most times of the day. Once there, it is a simple matter to park in a commuter lot and use public transportation to access other campus areas.
Those who prefer public transportation will find that these apartments are serviced by Gainesville’s Regional Transit System. Specifically, the apartments are serviced by Routes 8 and 29. The most convenient of these routes will be 8 which runs every 10-30 minutes Monday through Friday. This route accesses the most important parts of the campus.
It is unlikely that many students in this complex will choose to walk to campus. If they do, however, the walk time can range between 20-40 minutes depending on the campus destination that is chosen. The same holds true for those who choose to bike to school.
