Transportation
The distance to the University of Florida campus from College Park is one mile or less depending on the specific destination. Because the apartments are in such close proximity to the campus, many students prefer to walk, bike, or use a scooter to reach their classes. It can take between 10-30 minutes with any of these methods to arrive at a desired campus location.
For those who do not wish to walk, the Regional Transit System of Gainesville provides multiple bus routes which run seven days a week. In most cases, residents of the complex will wish to take bus routes 5 or 8. Both of these are available every 10-30 minutes during the weekdays. They also run a limited schedule on the weekends.
By car, most areas of the campus can be reached in anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on the traffic and the time of day. It is possible to park in one of the commuter lots on campus and then take an RTS bus to more specific locations.
