Simplified regional travel isn’t the only reason living near I-75 is a good choice though. The interstate is surrounded by some of the area’s most important, popular and convenient sites. Here, you’ll find dozens of restaurants, stores, services, educational institutions, museums, entertainment venues and parks. When you live near the interstate, there’s never a dull moment.
Of course, living near the freeway is especially convenient if you commute to work or to school. At its north point in the city, I-75 is close to Santa Fe College and Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. Traveling south from there, the interstate runs alongside Town Center Shopping Center, North Florida Regional Medical Center and The Oaks Mall; Split Rock Conservation Area; Butler Plaza and Gainesville Country Club.
